Sweet Peach Oatmeal Crisp Cookies made with fresh peaches, oats, and a crispy crumb topping, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert. Easy to bake and full of fresh fruit flavors.
Peach oatmeal crisp cookies are a delicious, healthy treat combining ripe peaches, oats, and a crunchy topping, ideal for breakfast or dessert, and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cooked turkey, shredded (plain, no seasoning – completely safe for dogs)
  • 1 ripe peach, peeled and diced (pit removed – pits are toxic to dogs)
  • 1 cup oat flour (grind rolled oats or buy pre-made)
  • 1/4 cup plain unsweetened applesauce (check label for xylitol-free)
  • 1 egg (fresh is best – avoid raw for safety)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper—this prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
  2. Combine turkey and peaches first to ensure even distribution throughout your cookies.
  3. Add oat flour, applesauce, and egg to the mixture, stirring until your dog starts begging from the amazing smell.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls onto baking sheet, flattening slightly so they bake evenly—about half-dollar size works perfectly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch—keep an eye on them after 20 minutes.
  6. Cool completely before serving—hot cookies can burn tongues, and we can’t have that!

Notes

  • Always use plain cooked turkey with no seasoning, skin, or bones
  • Remove peach pits completely—they contain cyanide and are dangerous for dogs
  • Cookies should feel room temperature before serving to prevent burns
  • Amber prefers these with a slight crunch, but they’re delicious soft too
  • Perfect size depends on your dog—break larger ones for smaller pups

Storage Tips

  • Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week
  • Don’t leave out at room temperature—turkey spoils quickly
  • Toss if you see any mold or if they smell off

What Makes This Recipe Special: These cookies provide complete nutrition with lean turkey protein for muscle health, natural peach vitamins for immune support, and gentle oat flour for digestive wellness—all without the fillers found in commercial treats.
