Description
Naturally sweet, creamy frozen treats that provide energy and probiotics in every refreshing bite
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Freeze Time: 3 hours | Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes | Makes: 15 drops

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed (brown spots preferred for maximum sweetness and creaminess)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) honey (raw, unprocessed preferred—only for dogs over 1 year old)
- 1 cup (240ml) plain yogurt (with live active cultures, never flavored or sweetened)
Instructions
- Mash to perfection: In a bowl, mash ripe bananas until completely smooth with no lumps—this ensures creamy frozen texture.
- Add sweetness: Mix honey into mashed bananas until well combined and smooth throughout.
- Fold in probiotics: Gently fold in plain yogurt until combined but still maintaining creamy texture—don’t overmix!
- Fill and freeze: Spoon mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays, filling about 3/4 full to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Freeze solid: Freeze for at least 3 hours or until completely solid—they should pop out of molds easily when ready.
- Serve immediately: Remove from freezer and serve right away—these melt faster than regular ice and provide immediate cooling relief!
Notes:
- Always use ripe bananas with brown spots for best flavor and texture
- Amber prefers these served immediately after outdoor activities when he’s warm
- Perfect for hot summer days or post-exercise cooling
- Skip honey for puppies under 12 months old
Storage Tips:
- Once frozen solid, transfer to airtight freezer container
- They’ll keep for 2-3 weeks in the freezer without losing quality
- Don’t leave them out—they melt quickly and can get sticky
- Consider serving outside or on towels to avoid mess
